Let’s get you a hat.
The process is simple.
Step 1.
Read all of the information and then fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page. When your message is received, someone will be in touch to book you in for a Design & Fit Consultation.
If you require a virtual consultation, please be sure to note this in the message.
Step 2.
You will meet with designer, Marty, for a Design & Fit Consultation.
During the consultation, Marty will ask a few get to know you questions – how you live and what you want your hat to say about you – through this convo, the overall look and feel will begin to present and inform the design; including colour, shape, ribbon accents and bespoke detailing like custom stitching.
Whether you like a more eccentric or laidback style, Marty will ensure an M.J. Cooper hat that speaks to your individuality.
Step 3.
Once you are happy with your design 50% of the total amount (exc. shipping) will need to be paid before your M.J. Cooper hat can be crafted.
Payment is made via PayPal or bank transfer. Cash payments are not accepted.
Step 4.
When your deposit is received, the creation process begins.
With a strong appreciation for traditional craftsmanship and individual design; each M.J. Cooper hat is shaped by hand out of sustainably sourced, premium fur felt, to your size specification. When shaped, Marty finishes the hat with your agreed design elements including customised ribbon work, metal accents, distressing and hand stitched details.
Depending on the complexity of your design, your M.J. Cooper may take between 4-6 weeks to produce; with progress updates provided along the way.
Step 5.
Once your M.J. Cooper is complete, the final payment (inc. shipping) will need to be made before it is sent to you.
Payment is made via PayPal or bank transfer. Cash payments are not accepted.
Upon receiving payment, your M.J. Cooper will be boxed safely and shipped. Depending on whether you live in Australia or overseas, the shipping process can take 1-3 weeks from dispatch. For more specific information please see ‘Shipping & Returns’.
